Laptop Lunch bento box system in use

Best Lunchbox Ever

August 22, 2013 by Michelle

So this week’s #VlogMom post is a little different from most.  This time around, we were challenged to review our favorite back to school item.  I chose something that I bought myself that we use on a daily basis.  In fact, I had to do my video in the morning before the wee ones went to school so that I could show our amazing lunchboxes – because we truly use them every. single. day.

And yes, I bought the Laptop Lunches bento box systems myself.  Mister Man’s we got when he was going into kindergarten five years ago, and Little Miss’s when she went to kindergarten four years ago.  You know something’s good when you choose to review it this many years later – and they’re both still in really good condition.  We’ve lost one fork (last spring), but otherwise, we have all the parts and pieces and they work the same today as they did the day I bought them.

Today, the wee ones have leftover churrasco with carrots and a banana.  I love that I can still use the insulated tote with a Thermos I bought separately along with portions of the bento box, and it fits perfectly.

Yesterday, they had a more traditional lunch for us using the full bento system, with turkey and baby spinach roll ups, tomatoes, some apple, and a little leftover El Salvadorian food from the night before.

Check out what makes this the best lunchbox ever – and then let me know what your favorite back to school item is.  Because I’ll be honest with you – I’ve done zero ($0) back to school shopping so far, and we’re on our third day of school already.

What an awesome lunchbox! My daughter is starting school after Labor Day and we will be packing her lunch too. So, it’s nice to know that we have this as an option.

I am going to buy one of these for each of my school-age grandsons…One is starting 1st grade and one is starting kindergarten. I’m just hoping they don’t lose any parts of the system. “These sound great!
