Thank You Gift Tags FREE Printable

Thank you gift tags printable
As the school year is drawing to a close, I have an awful lot of thank yous to share. And I’m guessing I’m not alone. Not only do I have the school teachers and therapists, but I also have our school PTO members to thank. Those awesome volunteers who are moving on from elementary school deserve recognition for making our school as amazing as it is. This year, I made homemade sugar scrubs for the graduating PTO members, and of course that means I needed some thank you gift tags.

I couldn’t find the round thank you gift tags I wanted, so of course I made my own. Of course not only am I going to make them, I’m that generous soul who will share them as a free printable for you!

I used these to go on top of the glass jar lid that I used for the sugar scrubs, but depending on what material you use to print these, you could use them for many different purposes. Print them on cardstock, and punch a hole in the top left of the circle, and and tie it to your gift with twine or a ribbon or something pretty that fits your gift’s style. They are also the perfect size to fit inside the lid of a mason jar, and we all know how perfect mason jar gifts are!

Want to recreate this look? Easy peasy in just a few minutes. First, print the round thank you gift card tags. I have both color thank you gift tags and an outline color thank you gift tags (outline version shown below), so you can choose which look you prefer.

Cut out as many circles as you need. The nice thing about the border is that it gives you a little freedom for cutting imperfections. My good scissors have disappeared (along with my brand new running shoes) and I’m left handed, so my cutting skills leave a bit to be desired. Even with as rotten of a job as I did on cutting a circle, the finished product still looks nice.

Get your gift ready. For me, that meant whipping up a couple batches of my sugar scrubs and placing them in the jars. Who doesn’t love (and need) a good sugar scrub?

Use a glue stick to apply glue to your thank you gift tag, coating it around the edges especially. The liquid in regular glue will cause your paper to curl, so definitely go with a glue stick. If you have kids, you know you have a few lying around.

Place the thank you gift tag on your glass jar top and smooth the tag. It’s amazing how something so simple creates such a special message.

I made two different versions of the sugar scrubs for our graduating PTO members. The sugar cookie brown sugar scrub was to show them how sweet they’ve been for volunteering their time and talent. The peppermint sugar scrub was in recognition of all the fresh ideas they’ve had to make all our events as successful as they’ve been. They loved them, and I like to think the thank you gift tags were just a little part of that.

How would you use these thank you gift tags?
